Welcome to Alpha 0.12.1! This version is a bugfix of Alpha 0.12 and doesn’t bring new content, but repaires the current one.
Alpha 0.12 added an installation option, which leveraged the end-user experience and eased access to the game. But there were some problems, if there are more than one user in the PC.
The version is avaiable for downloading in installable and portable versions.
Differences from Alpha 0.12:
- Updated the EULA
- Fixed bug when saving of new settings causes the game to crash
- Fixed bug when users, other than the one who installed the game, can’t save their worlds
- Fixed data format
- “C:\ProgramData\Towns ‘n’ Fields” directory is deleted when the game is being uninstalled
- Improved alerting when exceptions linked to the “settings.ini” are thrown
