Alpha 0.28 has been released

After less than three weeks after Alpha 0.27, new version of Towns ‘n’ Fields is coming. Despite it is largery a bugfix of Alpha 0.27, it can’t really be called that.

Because it not only fixes what should have been to, but also fills gaps from previous versions and even adds new mechanics, such as scoring system.

A lot of things remained still in this version. One of them is the double distribution in portable and installable editions. Feel free to download and enjoy playing!

  • Returned the “MissingNo.” string as the placeholder name for blocks, items, plants and entities
  • Added re-opening dialog message windows with showing the objectives with their progresses
  • Added showing “congratulations” texts at mission completion
  • Added scoring
  • Added mission 2 to the tutorial campaign
  • Added logging related to the campaign game
  • Updated Kotlin to 2.4.10 version
  • Fixed logging the selected area value
  • Fixed dropping sand from a clay block, clay is being dropped instead
  • Fixed the bug that caused exception at the end of a mission
  • Fixed the bug that didn’t allow to craft in the campaign mode
  • Fixed the Hebrew translation of the controls reference
  • Fixed the bug when clicking while the world is being loaded or generated might cause an exception
  • Changed the calculator in the world generation to more fast in the long run
  • Deleted objective printing to the console
